Activities of the Research and Publications Division include:
- Publication of a collection of essays in honour of foremost Senegalese writer and film maker Sembene Ousman.
- Publication of third edition of the Journal of Black and African Arts and Civilization (JBAAC).
- Research/Documentation of Honourees into the Black and African Hall of Fame.
- Publication of Papers presented at CBAAC public lecture series.
- Publication of Indigenous Language Press in Africa
